New Year, New Website!

This rebranding has been a long time coming, and I couldn’t be more excited to share it with you! Over the past four years, I’ve grown so much as a creative, and this new space feels like the perfect reflection of my evolution. From being a DC wedding planner to a full-time wedding photographer, it’s been quite the unique journey of embracing my love for storytelling, capturing human connection, and celebrating the beautiful moments in people’s lives.

I first picked up a camera when I was 17 and haven’t looked back since. When I first moved to DC from Idaho back in 2020, I was fascinated by the wedding industry here and wanted to know everything about it. That choice inevitably led me to embody various roles in wedding planning, catering, floristry and photography and I can proudly say that I have planned over 100 weddings in the DC area.

While I was planning weddings, I simultaneously captured as many photos as I possibly could. Filling my weekends and spare time up with creative shoots, I had this insatiable creative spark to meet fascinating people and capture what makes them unique.

Photography became a way for me to bring all my experiences together— from creating meaningful celebrations for others and capturing them— into a whole new path that allows me to continue preserving those moments for others forever.

My Philosophy as a Photographer

Bringing my years of wedding planning into this new chapter, I can confidently say I’ve gained invaluable insight in turning a wedding vision into a seamless and unforgettable reality. I’ve seen weddings of all sizes, groups and energy levels, and love them all! I’ve noticed that the weddings that feel the most connected are the ones where that connection is prioritized, and because of this, I have incorporated that core belief into my own personal philosophy:

I believe home is where the heart is—whether that’s surrounded by all your loved ones on the dance floor or tucked away in an intimate corner of the world that feels entirely yours.

I believe your wedding or portrait session should feel like an extension of who you are. Your photos don’t have to look like everybody else’s—they should reflect your personality, quirks, and sentimentality. Listen to what your heart is telling you, and follow where it leads!

The best weddings and photoshoots happen when you make a great plan beforehand and then let go and trust the process. Embrace the unexpected, lean into spontaneity, and let each moment unfold naturally. That’s where the magic happens.

Your wedding day is not a production—it’s a celebration. You should feel free to flow through the day, not worried about how things look but fully immersed in how they feel. When you look back at your photos, I want you to relive that joy and see the beauty in the moments you didn’t even realize were being captured.

The couples I work with are adventurers, dreamers, and free spirits. They value experiences over expectations and want their weddings and portraits to reflect who they truly are. My approach is intuitive, editorial, and heartfelt, blending timeless aesthetics with an adventurous spirit to create images that feel alive and deeply personal.

What’s Next?

2025 marks an exciting new chapter for my work. I’ve expanded my editorial portrait offerings and am leaning into destination weddings and elopements—serving couples who dream of celebrating their love in extraordinary ways. Whether it’s exchanging vows in the mountains, on a beach at sunset, or in the heart of a vibrant city, I’m here to document your story with authenticity, care, and creativity.
